It's crap... it was actually a woman. Philippine president Corazon Aquino. Aquino, a housewife at the time of the country's spur-of-the-moment presidential election, led a revolution against Ferdinand Marcos, who had been president for 20 years, and she won. The only other woman to appear on a Man of the Year cover was Queen Elizabeth II, in 1952.
Now there's some interesting information about people of the Philippines. Oh, does anyone know who the Man of the Year went to for 2004? It was our very own president Mr. George W. Bush.
Anyway, the fact or crap for today is "Koko the gorilla has a vocabulary of more than a 1000 words." FACT or CRAP?
