guess where i am? never thought i'd be here on a saturday night but i am. i'm at nacs! why? cause my computer is in the RA room of shadowfax (the middle earth dorm). i started work last sunday and what a week it has been.
i moved back into the residence halls for the summer, shadowfax to be more specific. it's been a pretty tiring yet filling week. i've been going to bed past 2am most nights and waking up between 7:30-8am. i get a few naps here and there but only for like 20 minutes at a time. i've been eating at consistant times (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and i'm actually excercising, well it's not really exercising, but i'm getting my heart rate up by playing sports and what-not. freakin-a i was sooo sore for the past week. i felt so broken, and everytime i would try to sit or move my legs i would be in pain. =/ but it's all pretty much gone now, but it'll probably come back next week when the process is repeated all over again with the next session of gifted kids. i also started summer school this week, bleh, upper division writing. it'll be a lot of work, but i'm kinda excited just cause my topic is on GSA ("gifted students academy" where i work). hopefully it won't be too bad. A's all the way... haha, well at least i keep telling myself that, we'll find out if that actually happens or else i'm out a hundred bucks. ;)
it's the fourth of july tomorrow and i'm in irvine. i need to do laundry and clean up my side of my room cause i left it really messy when i left on sunday. my family wasn't doing anything anyway so i opted to just stay here. i might actually go and do something tomorrow so we shall see how that turns out.
k, well i'm all out of things to say. i really need to get out of here... it's freakin saturday night and i'm spending it working on my research question and blogging. where is everyone? ::sigh:: well, i'm off then... till next time, have a great fourth of july. happy birthday america!
oh, just wanted to add this... got it along time ago from a friend. think about it each one...
1.. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
2.. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
3.. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
4.. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
5.. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
6.. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
7.. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
8.. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
9.. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
10.. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
11.. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
12.. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
