I don't know if anyone really reads this anymore, but today is:
February 11, 2008... the 150th commemoration of the Blessed Virgin Mary appearing to Bernadette at Lourdes. It is what the church now calls, World Day of the Sick. For those of you that don't know the story of Lourdes and of Saint Bernadette... read up, it's an interesting story. =)
How do I come by this bit of information? I went to mass this morning and that's what the priest was talking about. Kathee and I were once family leaders in the St. Bernadette family, so the story was familiar and it kept my focus.
Anyway... that's all. Prayers for all the sick around the world today.
